Credit where it’s due, it’s good to hear that the Obama administration is considering a plan to deal with Somali pirates. We’re already losing a little of our standing in the world due to our economy, and we really don’t need to have pirates making us look bad. Piracy may be a lucrative business, but they’re still small bands of criminals who shouldn’t stand a chance against the U.S. military. We need to remind them who they’re dealing with, and shut ‘em down!
Now, this whole plan is still under consideration, so there’s no telling what we’ll actually do, but I’m hoping we opt to end this problem quickly.
