Hamas Calls On UN To Rescind UN Resolution Of 60 Years Ago

Hamas on Thursday called on the United Nations to rescind the UN resolution passed on November 29, 1947, that led to the founding of Israel. A statement issued by the movement on Thursday declared “it is not shameful to correct a mistake. Palestine is Arab Islamic land from the river to the sea, including Jerusalem and the Jews have no place there.”

Abbas denies report of planned talks between Hamas and Fatah

Palestinian Authority President denied reports on Saturday that he had agreed to begin talks with Hamas following the US-sponsored Middle East summit scheduled to take place in Annapolis in November.

In the report published by the London-based Al Hayat newspaper on Saturday, a Hamas source revealed that Abbas had agreed to hold talks with Hamas in Egypt following the summit.

According to the source, “Many Arab countries tried convincing Abu Mazen [Abbas] to hold talks between [Fatah and Hamas], but every time he requested a postponement. Recently, during a meeting with Sudanese President Omar al-Basheer, Abu Mazen agreed to begin the talks after Basheer discussed with him the importance of a dialogue.”

Fatah to Reconcile With Hamas After November Conference

(IsraelNN.com) Fatah plans to wait until after the Washington DC Olmert-Abbas-Bush conference in November – and then reconcile with Hamas.

“I believe the dialogue between the two movements is a certain choice, but I think it will be delayed until after the conference in the fall,” Fatah central command member Kadora Fares was quoted by Haaretz as saying.

Fares later qualified his statement as more of a threat: If Israel did not make enough concessions, Fatah would choose the path of Hamas. “But if a breakthrough is achieved, then Hamas has to revise itself and be more realistic in dealing with the political development,” he said.

Hamas – Israel Has Declared War But Ready For Tahdiya

With the Israeli cabinet decision to declare Gaza and Hamas an enemy entity, Hamas lashed back declaring Israel’s decision was a declaration of war. Infolive.tv spoke with Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zouhry who said the Kassam rocket attacks will continue but if Israel stops its acts of aggression Hamas will be willing to abide by a tahdiya.

Mashaal: US wants Palestinians divided

Exiled Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal criticized an upcoming US-sponsored Mideast peace conference Saturday, saying Washington was trying to impose its agenda and widen divisions between the Palestinians.

US President George W. Bush proposed the conference this summer after bloody Palestinian infighting split the Hamas and Fatah movements into two rival governments. His administration sees the bitter internal split as an opportunity to push for a political settlement between Israel and the Palestinians.

I have absolutely no doubt that U.S. involvement is purely of a selfish nature, but I doubt Mashaal’s version of what will happen will come true.

Hamas: Red Cross can't visit Schalit

A senior Hamas official announced on Thursday that his organization would not allow the Red Cross to visit kidnapped IDF soldier Cpl. Gilad Schalit, Army Radio reported.

“If Israel knows where he is located, they might blow the place up in order to bring about his death and end the whole affair,” he said.

Hamas obviously hasn’t been paying attention, because I doubt last summer’s fighting with Hamas would’ve happened had Israel cared so little about the welfare of this one soldier. My thoery is that Hamas has killed him and are trying to hide this fact.

IDF: Hamas Responsible for Gaza Arabs' Deaths

(IsraelNN.com) The IDF struck several rocket launchers in northern Gaza Wednesday, saying it refuses to allow Hamas to guard its rockets by placing them in populated areas.

PA sources claimed three teenagers and children were killed in the strike. The children were apparently sent by Hamas terrorists to adjust the launchers. The IDF identified five launchers with suspicious figures moving among them and launched the strike.

The previous night, IDF soldiers intercepted a 15-year-old suicide bomber dispatched from northern Gaza.

Hamas launches official government Web site

website Hamas launches official government Web site
Though the breakup was bloody and public more than two months ago, the Palestinian unity government with the Islamic Hamas and secular Fatah is alive and well – at least on the Internet.

The deposed Hamas-led government launched a Web site for the national unity coalition on Monday, despite its demise on the ground.

The Hamas Cabinet has refused to step down, though Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas of Fatah fired it after the Hamas takeover of Gaza and appointed an emergency government, based in the West Bank city of Ramallah. That leaves the deposed Hamas regime still in power in Gaza.

Report: Abbas breaking promise to not court Hamas

Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas is seeking reconciliation with the Hamas terrorist organization and the reestablishment of a unity government, despite assurances earlier this month that he would do no such thing.

The London-based Arabic daily Asharq Alawsat reported on Wednesday that Hamas lawmakers had presented Abbas with a reconciliation proposal a day earlier, and that the Palestinian leader was viewing it positively.

Israeli Says Hamas Is Training Hundreds Abroad

JERUSALEM, Aug. 27 – Hamas has sent hundreds of its fighters abroad for military training, most of them to Iran, the Israeli Army`s deputy chief of staff says, and Israel has the names of more than 100 of them.

Israel is watching as Hamas, in control of Gaza, is building an army there on the model of Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, said the deputy chief of staff, Maj. Gen. Moshe Kaplinsky, in a wide-ranging interview conducted 10 days ago at his office in Tel Aviv. He said Hamas was constructing positions and fortifications, building tunnels for fighting and smuggling in explosives, antitank weapons and more sophisticated rockets through the Egyptian desert.

Israel’s blundering in the Second Lebanon War is going to cost them dearly, as it seems every terrorist organization that wants the Jewish state wiped from the map sees Hizb’Allah’s performance in that war as the model they should follow.

Based on the media coverage Tomorrow’s Pioneers has received (none of it good), it’s safe to say this little girl is quite controversial. The article is well worth reading, as it proves

“Hamas is fighting a political war for the hearts and minds of the West Bank and Gaza Strip,” said Robert A. Pape, a University of Chicago political science professor and the author of “Dying to Win: The Strategic Logic of Suicide Terrorism.”

“They are trying to show that they are the true heart-and-soul of the community, all the way down to an 11-year-old-girl,” Pape added.

Hamas TV show abuses animals

The latest episode of a popular Hamas children’s TV show features its main character cruelly swinging cats by their tails and throwing stones at caged lions in the Gaza zoo.

The episode of Tomorrow’s Pioneers features a costumed adult playing Nahool the Bee at the zoo, tormenting domestic cats and lions. The lions become so enraged by the abuse that one of them repeatedly tries to attack Nahool.

Every time Nahool swings a cat by the tail, an act that can cause permanent physical and behavior problems for the animal, children can be heard bursting into laughter.

Ironically, the decision to terrorize and inflict physical pain on real animals in the episode is an attempt to teach children not to abuse animals. When the program returns to the studio, the children in the audience criticize Nahool for his behavior, and he is told never to do it again.

NOTE: Nahool is the character that replaced Farfur, the Mickey Mouse clone that was killed off in response to widespread international outrage that a knockoff of the lovable Walt Disney character was teaching children about hatred and world Islamic domination.

I got this from PMW, who have pics at that link. Here’s the YouTube video:
