Bill O’Reilly and ABC News’ Brian Ross discuss the Solyndra scandal. Not sure how this will shake out, but it isn’t looking good for the White House at the moment.
Just Keep Fiddlin’, Nero: Obama: “I Don’t Think We Are In Danger Of Another Recession”
I’d be willing to bet most people on the street think we’re already in another recession, so in that sense, I guess you could argue the danger has passed. Otherwise, I suspect the President needs some new advisers.

Man, I love these guys! Fun little video, with an accompanying piece piece explaining their claims. That second video is after the jump:

Obama Elbowed During B-Ball Game, Gets Stitches
I’m sure you’ve heard the story by now, but you can find it here if your Black Friday shopping distracted you from the news of the day yesterday.
My first first thought when I saw this story was, “wow, you have to be a pretty brave person to throw an elbow at the President!” However, I now think that Rey Decerega, the elbower, must have a big brass set. Not only did he elbow Obama in the mouth, this was his response:
“I learned today the president is both a tough competitor and a good sport,” the statement said. “I enjoyed playing basketball with him this morning. I’m sure he’ll be back out on the court again soon.”
As Matt Drudge pointed out, he didn’t even bother to offer a public apology! That’s a vicious competitor right there!
Non-News Item Of The Day: People Are Dissapointed With Obama
LINK: Poll: Rocky road seen ahead for Obama (Politico)
Yeah, that’s hardly a shocker considering all that’s gone on since his election. You don’t get reactions like the Tea Party when people approve of what you’re doing.
Now, will Obama actually be booted from office in a couple of years? Honestly, I doubt it. My expectation right now is that the Republicans will gain the majority in the House and Senate, not make the changes people want, thus causing the voting public to swing back to the Democrats to fix what’s wrong. Ultimately, I think we’re stuck with the current state of the country, and neither side will change anything.

Viewing Public To Obama: “You Play Ball Like A Girl!”
It seems even the more polite reviews are saying the same thing as people on the street.
It’s easy, and tempting, to make fun of the President here. However, regardless of who it is, I see this whole throwing out the first pitch bit as unnecessary punishment for having people know your name, as everyone from the President to local news anchors take part in this tradition (as noted by any article on Obama’s pitch, started 100 years ago by President Taft).
You take some poor guy who A) was never an athlete, or B) was an athlete, but has let his skills decline, put him on a pitcher’s mound (or, in some cases, in front of a pitcher’s mound), with hundreds of people watching, and have him put his athletic skills on display (phrase most use to psyche themselves up for this: “just get it across the plate, just get it across the plate…”). How cruel is that?
“Hey, can you come out and throw the first pitch at our game next month?” “Sure, I’m not busy. I’ll gladly spend a Saturday afternoon being stripped of my manhood!”
Obama: "We had too little government…"
So, the economy is a mess because Obama’s cronies decided that home ownership is a right, got the banks to give out a bunch of sub-prime adjustable-rate mortgages, those mortgages were defaulted on, and the debt that was sold from one company to the next is now coming due and companies are crumbling because they need their money.
How would more government have prevented this, when the government caused it?
AARP Not Supporting Your Health Plan?
Well, that’s no reason to not say they are!
Could be a mistake, but I’m waiting to see what happens next. Sadly, I suspect Obama just stole AARP’s thunder in announcing this.
